HISTORY OF THE NAFFFCA
Bill Hoy's Dream of having a Local Ford Tractor Club in central Pa. came about with the help of Karl Strong and Lee (Bud) Smeltzer, the North American Ford, Fordson, Fergusion Collectors Association was established in 2001. A little about each of these 3 men, the founders of the North American Ford, Fordson, Fergusion Collectors Association.

Bill Hoy had a down to earth style to communicate with people and he would make others feel special and good about themselves. After being greeting by Bill Hoy, Each person believed that he had brought the nicest and best tractor to the show. Because of Bill's since of humor and his stories, everyone forgot their troubles and was able to enjoy their tractors and the shows, as much as he did. Even though Karl Strong loved his Allis Chalmers, he knew of Bill Hoy desire to form a local Ford Tractor Club, and he wanted to help his friend fulfill his dreams. Karl enjoyed showing his tractors, but the thing he enjoyed most was meeting and talking with all his many friends that he made over the 20 plus years from going to many different shows. Bud Smeltzer when approached by Bill Hoy and Karl Strong about forming a local Ford Tractor Cub, he thought it was a good idea. Because Bud was a very private man, he did a lot for the club without drawing attention to himself. One thing bud did enjoy was taking his tractors to the shows with his cousin and best friend, Dick Smeltzer.
FROM THE PRESIDENT (John Finch)

Welcome to the new year and hopefully a big year for the North American Ford Fordson Fergison Collectors Association. 2010 is going to be a big year of planning, if you don't know by now the NAFFFCA, NAMA, are going together with the National Ford Fordson Association, to host what we are hoping to be the largest National Ford Tractor Show. to most of you that don't know i'm one of the younger member and i admit that i am not an encyclopida. the first and only tractor i own is the one pictured to the left, and no it wasn't my idea for all the advertizment. my Father was supposed to be president this year but in his term as first vice president he passed away. he was really looking forward to this national show. he made ties with members of the national club, even an internation club from Britian. he was also a but of an pain, but that is what parents are for right. the members at NAMA though that this would be a decent tribute for him. enough about that we are in the process of getting the banquet specifiactions finalized. we are also seaking members to help out on one of the committies. we are also having a chinese auction at that show and are looking for donated items. well enough for now hope to see you this season
